The Greening for Profit program, which is limited to 36 participants, will be introduced at a free event on Tuesday, October 11. FREE KICKOFF EVENT October 11 - 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Featuring Hunter Lovins, president of Natural Capitalism Solutions Crome Architecture, 905 Fourth Street, San Rafael To reserve your seat, call (415) 408-8293 Greening for Profit is a collaboration between the City of San Rafael, Dominican University and the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce. The hands-on workshops will be conducted by Natural Capitalism Solutions, a pioneer in green business practices founded by Hunter Lovins. Under the guidance of the workshop coach, participants will analyze their company’s operations for cost-saving and profit enhancing opportunities, then create and implement a detailed action plan. “Marin businesses can see dramatic savings by making simple changes that reduce their energy, water and materials use. Companies we worked with across the country have experienced great success,” says Lovins. Natural Capitalism Solutions serves clients worldwide, and they’ve helped Bay Area organizations such as the Marin Horizon School, Stanford University and Ghirardelli Chocolate to green their operations. COMPANIES THAT BENEFIT Most companies have developed inefficient practices that, over time, whittle away at their bottom line.
